During these hard times, Volkswagen of America and Volkswagen Credit are providing payment assistance options for their customers. The project dubbed ‘the community-driven promise’ seeks to assist customers impacted by the pandemic who need the financial assistance to replace a car.

The Community-Driven Promise

Volkswagen, for many decades, has always been committed to offering support to their customers, employees, dealers and the community at large. VCI’s CEO and President Anthony Bandman said that the firm is committed to providing support in these times of uncertainty. That's why VW is offering special financing terms for those who have recently purchased a VW or who were planning to do so in the near future.

Volkswagen intends to start a nationwide campaign in both English and Spanish to raise awareness of the newly launched project. Volkswagen, in conjunction with VCI, is also set to offer additional support to it’s over 600 independent dealers to equip their employees with enough skills on how to respond to the uncertainty. Some support they plan to offer includes: a delivery and pick-up program that is set to provide assistance to customers who are interested in practicing social distancing but still need their cars brought in to a participating dealership for repairs and service; and enhanced digital operations and protocols to limit physical interaction in dealer service departments.
